These precision-engineered rotors, each adorned with several concave teeth, rotate harmoniously in opposite directions. The rotors maintain a minuscule gap of just 5 to 10 microns from each other and from the casing, ensuring seamless operation. Typically, the main rotor (male) is powered by an engine or electric motor, while the secondary rotor (female) is expertly driven by an oil film from oil injection or synchronized gears, preventing any metal-to-metal contact. As the rotors spin, they draw gas into the rotor grooves through the intake port. The rotors continue to turn, sealing the grooves with the casing wall to form a robust compression chamber. In this chamber, lubricating oil is injected, serving to seal, cool, and lubricate. As rotation persists, the chamber's volume decreases, compressing the gas into a refined oil-gas mixture, which is then released through the exhaust port-completing the cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust flawlessly.
