The main rotor, or male rotor, is powered by a reliable engine or electric motor, while its counterpart, the female rotor, is delicately propelled by either a finely-tuned oil film via oil injection or synchronized gears, eliminating any metal contact. As they spin, the rotor grooves eagerly draw in gas from the intake port. During their rotation, the grooves become sealed against the casing wall, creating a specialized compression chamber. Here, lubricating oil is introduced to ensure optimal sealing, cooling, and lubrication. As the rotors continue their rotation, the chamber's volume systematically decreases, compressing the gas into an efficient oil-gas mixture. This mixture is then released through the exhaust port, completing the essential cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust, embodying efficiency and innovation.
