Product Description


The operating principle of a single-screw compressoris ingeniously executed through the seamless collaboration of two intermeshing helical rotors, aptly termed the male and female rotors. These rotors boast several concave teeth and gracefully rotate in opposite directions. The precision-engineered gap between the rotors and their casing is a mere 5 to 10 microns. The primary rotor, the male rotor, is typically powered by an engine or electric motor, while the female rotor is driven by a meticulously formed oil film, courtesy of oil injection, or by synchronized gears, ensuring flawless operation without any metal-to-metal contact. As operation commences, the rotor grooves eagerly absorb gas from the intake port. As rotation continues, the grooves are elegantly sealed by the casing wall, creating a compression chamber where lubricating oil is introduced. This oil serves multiple roles: sealing, cooling, and lubricating. As the journey progresses, the compression chamber's volume diminishes, transforming the gas into an oil-gas mixture that is triumphantly expelled through the exhaust port, completing the cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust with unparalleled efficiency.
