Product Description
The operating principle of a single-screw compressoris achieved through a pair of intricately designed intermeshing helical rotors, elegantly referred to as the male and female rotors. These sophisticated rotors boast multiple concave teeth and rotate in opposite directions, creating a harmonious mechanical dance. The precision gap between the rotors, and between the casing and the rotors, is an incredibly narrow 5 to 10 microns. The main, or male, rotor is skillfully driven by an engine or electric motor, while its counterpart, the female rotor, is ingeniously propelled by a resilient oil film introduced through oil injection or by synchronized gears. This innovative approach ensures that there is no metal-to-metal contact during the drive process, preserving the integrity of the components. As operation begins, the rotor grooves eagerly fill with gas upon passing the intake port. In their graceful rotation, the rotor grooves are perfectly sealed off by the casing wall, transforming into a compression chamber. At this stage, lubricating oil is carefully injected, serving the dual purpose of sealing and cooling, as well as providing lubrication. As the rotors continue their rotation, the volume of the compression chamber is ingeniously reduced, compressing the gas into a refined oil-gas mixture. This mixture is finally discharged through the exhaust port, completing the seamless cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust.
