The Operating Principle of a Single-Screw CompressorOur cutting-edge single-screw compressor operates with unmatched precision through two intermeshing helical rotors, known as the male and female rotors. These sophisticated rotors, with multiple concave teeth, ingeniously rotate in opposite directions. The meticulous gap between the rotors and the casing is maintained at an ultra-fine 5 to 10 microns. The main rotor, or male rotor, is expertly driven by a high-performance engine or electric motor. Meanwhile, the other rotor, the female rotor, is propelled either by a finely-tuned oil film from oil injection or by perfectly synchronized gears, ensuring a smooth operation with absolutely no metal-to-metal contact. During the process, gas fills the rotor grooves as they pass the intake port. As these rotors rotate, the grooves are expertly sealed off by the casing wall, creating a superb compression chamber. High-quality lubricating oil is then injected into this chamber to provide exceptional sealing, cooling, and lubrication. As rotation continues, the volume of the compression chamber impressively decreases, skilfully compressing the gas into a finely mixed oil-gas substance, which is ultimately released through the exhaust port, completing a flawless cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust.
