The separation between the rotors, and between the casing and the rotors, is meticulously maintained at a mere 5 to 10 microns, ensuring optimal performance. Driven by an engine or electric motor, the main rotor (male rotor) operates seamlessly, while the counterpart (female rotor) is either propelled by an oil film from strategic oil injection or by perfectly synchronized gears. This ingenious design guarantees flawless performance with no metal-to-metal contact throughout the operation. During operation, the rotor grooves fill with gas as they glide past the intake port. As rotation continues, the rotor grooves are expertly sealed off by the casing wall, forming an efficient compression chamber. At this stage, lubricating oil is injected into the chamber, providing essential sealing, cooling, and lubrication. As the rotation persists, the compression chamber's volume decreases, skillfully compressing the gas into an oil-gas mixture, which is then elegantly discharged through the exhaust port, completing an efficient cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust.
