These rotors boast several intricately designed concave teeth and dance in opposite directions. The precision gap between them and their casing is breathtakingly minimal, only 5 to 10 microns. The main rotor, or 'male rotor', draws its power from an engine or electric motor, while the 'female rotor' elegantly glides in tandem, guided by the oil film from oil injection or synchronized gears, ensuring a seamless drive devoid of metal contact. As the operation proceeds, rotor grooves eagerly fill with gas at the intake port. With each rotation, these grooves are sealed by the casing wall, crafting a confined compression chamber. The subsequent injection of lubricating oil into this chamber serves a trifecta of roles: sealing, cooling, and lubricating. As rotations persist, the compression chamber's volume shrinks, compressing the gas into a harmonious oil-gas blend, which then gracefully exits via the exhaust port, completing the cyclical ballet of intake, compression, and exhaust.
